We have major experience in both dredging and reclamation projects and has developed adept skills in balancing the various requirements to achieve best value for money and to minimise environmental impacts.

Our main competitive advantage lies in our unique, innovative robotic cleaning and dredging solutions which are used to facilitate the hazardous sludge and sediments removal from highly complexity confined space structures within the chemical, petrochemical and mining industries.

Coastal protection projects mitigate potential risks of flooding and land erosion by implementing techniques such as rebuilding beaches and building protective berms and dunes.

Dredging can assist with preventing vegetation growth or algae blooms — in some cases by dredging may contribute to reversing the process by improving the overall water quality. Dredging can add depth to a lake, creating space for fish and eliminating cramped oxygen-deprived conditions.

Maintenance dredging removes sand, silt, mud and rock from underwater channels and berths where it has collected through natural processes such as wind or wave action. Maintenance dredging is required to keep the channel and the harbour at an acceptable depth to allow safe access for commercial, cruise and military ships.

When materials such as sand and gravel, minerals, or tailings are below the water table or in retention ponds, mining with a cutter suction dredge is the most efficient way to obtain and hydraulically transport the materials to your processing plant. DAL’s heavy-duty dredge systems are designed for efficient and reliable long-term production throughout your mine’s entire life cycle.
